Kind of a long story, I am taking a trip Dec 18th -24th with my sister, bil, and their 7 y.o. twins. I have reconnected via e-mail and phone with a guy that I went to kindergarten-4th grade with. We met again-and fell in love when we were 14(as much as you can at that age). I moved away-and we lost touch, but have recently gotten close again. He lives in Daytona, and wants to come spend an evening with me at Disney. He's lived there for awhile, and has only been to Disney once-(we need to work on that..lol) He won't have a park pass, so I am looking for suggestions of something(s) we could do together, romantic would be fine, but not absolutely necessary-I want it to be a wonderful evening. No dinner either-we have the DP, and he won't get there til after we eat dinner-we have early ressies because of the twins.Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I've heard that the new restaurant at Downtown Disney, Raglan Road, participates in the Dining Plan (and I think Fulton's does too). You could meet him for dinner, just the two of you, and use one of your credits for your meal.

Jellyrolls could be fun ... although, kinda loud to carry on a conversation in there ... you could always start the evening at Jellyrolls, and then go for a long walk along the boardwalk/beach club lake (several times, if need be) if you want something quieter.

Maybe a romantic dinner somewhere in Epcot with Illuminations to follow?

Ok as you posted he doesn't have a park pass so why not maybe go for some ice cream at Beaches & Cream then for some dancing at Jellyrolls or to someplace else along the boardwalk.

Go for drinks at CG. Take the monorail over to Poly or GF and walk along the beach. Have a great time.

Wow, can't think of a better place to "reconnect" then DW. I would make it a quiet evening, you have a lot of catching up to do!

Thanks for your replies, I am leaning toward doing some hotel hopping, looking at the Christmas decorations, visiting a few lounges along the way. I am very excited to show him "my world". I will post when we return and let you know how it turns out.

Check out the Theme Park board and see if anyone has a WISHES or Illuminations cruise to share. We have shared several times and it is eary to be friendly or not really talk to those you are sharing with.

Good luck and Enjoy!
