Meet the Fockers! We're watching you...

Uh, actually this all started with YOU!
I think S'late (we'll blame her anyway!) said we should all change our avatar to Jo's scary doll to welcome you back!!!

Hey! Don't blame me......I was up on stage singing Crazy by Patsy Cline.

Sorry I haven't spoken in awhile, but life has been CRAZY here! I've been watching from a distance, and it looks like life on the DIS has been going crazy too. I think scary doll has possessed everyone :scared1: My DH laid me off from work yesterday, so I guess I'll have more time for my DIS friends (they're the only ones who understand me, anyways--DH calls me a Disneyfreak! Strange thing is, though, he told me to ask my DIS friends a question about our upcoming trip :confused3 ). Better not let DH see the scary doll stuff--he may not let me come back:rotfl: BTW, MotoXPrincess99, I think Michael's still sells the doll head and arms, so let's get to work! There are Disney trips to be paid for (such as mine!)!

Ya, I can crochet, maybe I can make some money for a Summer Disneyland trip! :rotfl:

Can you crochet clothes? You should check out ebay, you can make some $ doing kids halter tops. My daughter wore a Nemo top yesterday to the doctors and almost everyone that seen it said how cute it was and wanted to know if I made it. :goodvibes

OH one more thing.... can I be added to the list for Oct 29- Nov 2nd please! It's not set in stone, but it's looking good

Ahem...:rolleyes1

Virtual friends are better than real life ones.

Except, when you meet a virtual friend IN real life.

Virtually Real?
Really Virtual?

Love you DLMama!!!

I'll have you know, I gained 4 pounds this week. AND loved every bite.
Stupid 1/4th Monte Cristo with berry drizzle with a side of pomme frittes.

Prom Night 2007!!!!

My little baby boy (Jordan, turning 18 next week) just left to go pick up his girlfriend for PROM! You should see him in his rental tux and new haircut!!!! :cool2:

They're on their way back here for the corsage/ picture ceremony. I'm a wreck!
I'm not sure why, though. It's such a pivotal milestone, prom.

I'm giggling to myself that their idea of a fancy dinner is Red Lobster. Where my gourmand son will order fried shrimp and french fries and a Sprite. She has her heart set on crab. I told her to protect her dress with plastic bibbing.

He debated putting the top up on his Barney-purple convertible LeBaron. I told him her hair would muss. OY! I hope he remembers to put his napkin on his lap and hold the chair out for her.

Nearly 18 years of training to be tested tonight. Geez, I hope he doesn't do ANYthing I did after prom. :scared1:

. Don't forget to turn on the light!

Sadly, I didn't do anything after my prom. Mine stunk and I wish I could have a do-over. Did anyone see that "Deal or no Deal" episode where they had that girl's prom?

I'm pretty sure we didn't stay long at the prom...

And, yes, there were wine coolers involved (being so sophisticated and worldly). And a hotel room at the Anaheim Marriot :scared1:

Apparently, my son and his GF are going to see Spiderman 3 afterwards. They brought changes of clothes.

They just left!!!! I took plenty of photos. Yes, I'll post em later.

She looked so bee-uti-ful! He looked so handsome.

Better than Boone's Farm wine, my God that gave nasty hangovers. Not that I would personally know.:rolleyes1

Ooo, prom stories - let's hear 'em! :thumbsup2

Here's mine: the juniors got to plan and pay for the senior prom (we were a TINY school, so there was just the one prom) and for ours, they chose a river cruise. In early June. In Buffalo, NY. I'm pretty sure the river still had freaking ICE on it in places. Lots of girls shivering in their strapless gowns. The brandy came in handy, KWIM? ;)
Myself, going through a major punk rock stage, was wearing a 1930's black velvet gown and was reasonably toasty. The Jack Daniels may have come in handy, too, KWIM?! :rotfl2:
Don't even get me started on the after-parties :rolleyes1
Better than Boone's Farm wine, my God that gave nasty hangovers. Not that I would personally know.:rolleyes1
Oh, I know your Boone's Farm pain. :scared: That stuff's just plain evil!

Utahmama, I can imagine the emotions you are feeling tonight. Pride and fear. What a combination. I behaved myself very well at MY prom, no other choice as my parents lived across the street and my dad collected guns like some collect baseball cards. :rotfl2:

I have noticed that the parents who were the wildest themselves are the most strict with their own kids. Remember that threat your mom said "I hope you get a kid just like YOU!!"

Sounds like you lucked out and got a kid that is not only good looking but not as apt to be nearly as wild as yourself. :scared1:

sorul82, just you watch out for plane trips, especially with anybody named Cowboy.

PrincessV, I saw your pictures somewhere on the Boards. You are a great looking gal. Matches your fantastic personality.

BTW, many, if not most of my virtual friends are also my real friends. I have had "Mother's Day" congrats from more young folks than I will ever get from those I thrust from my own loins.

ALSO, am watching Suse Orman and she just declined a Disney Vacation for someone who is heavily in debt. Ouch!!!

Off to see if I can make up for my unwicked past. Wonder what I should try FIRST????? It is my goal in life to now embarrass my children. Seems only fair. :rolleyes1

Slightly Goofy

NO! You don't want the audio. :scared1: My precious daughter just told me, "mom you don't sing good.....but no offense." She is so out of the will.
