'Hi!' back at ya', cous'. Rural Lafayette to be exact. Yes, my name refers to my love of all things dachshund! I have 2 miniature doxies. I just looked up the word, all I can say is I'm talking dogs not floozies. Good thing I put a picture of Max in my sig. Too funny. I guess I would be a lazy floozy since I'm not a floozy at all.

I just had to say we just got our first mini doxie for our son in November as his Christmas gift. I had no clue how sweet they are. She is just the sweetest most cuddly dog. I had only owned shih tzu's in the last 15 years and still love them but DS's doxy has really stole my heart. She is so eager to please on my terms where my shih tzu only does things on her terms not mine. lol Although the doxy does have social anxiety issues in that she is freaked by new people approaching her, where the shih tzu loves everyone the minute they come near her.

Lazydoxy, we are in polar opposites of the state. I am from far down south, IU territory but maybe you will not hate me when I tell you that my grandsons are Purdue fans? You did not know the other meaning of 'doxy"? I am rather a fan of odd words and meanings myself. Heck, I am odd, myself. Have we met? I do not hear well and I have a lot of problems when I meet folks. I often have them write down their screen names and then I take a picture and sometimes in the rush, or noise, I miss out. I am sorry.

English Rose, I are a 'grammar' ya know and believe it not, from reading my quickly typed posts, I used to be a proofreader/editor at a publishing firm. I have just gotten very lazy in my dotage. Alicia is far too kind to correct anyone. Besides she is counting me to save her a seat to see Wishes & EWP in September.

Ang, as our resident mental health expert what do you call people who suffer from BOTH of the symptoms highlighted next?

I have an Aunt who lives in Bloomington. She raised her family in IU country. My family routes for IU. My friends were Purdue fans. To keep the peace I route for Notre Dame!
