Meet my new Purse - if only I could open it!

How do you know the keys are inside the bag?

Cute bag, but I have the same issue with handbags that I do with earrings...I may like different ones, but I rarely bother taking the time to change them.

It's a cute purse, I like it too, but I wouldn't carry it myself. I would consider it a curse.
I had one VERY expensive purse once. I also had a very expensive wallet in it. They both were gifts, I would never have spent that much on either, but I digress.
I was held up at gunpoint and the bum took my expensive purse and wallet. I only had $50 in the wallet and some combs and makeup and the usual stuff we always seem to collect in purses.
My homeowners said becuase I couldn't show receipts I would only get back the cost of what was in the purse, which totaled about $200. I had a $250 deductible. If I had been able to claim the purse and wallet I would have met and exceeded the deductable by over $500. Oh well.

But for your problem, the purse is dark and this is summer. We are supposed to be carrying white and beige, or a light fabric so you can save that purse till winter and wait for the key. Now go out and buy the same design in white for your summer bag.

I saw a cute purse once that had a strap that flapped over and people literally had to close it with a belt buckle, sliding in the strap each time. There was no extra magnetic catch or quick snap underneath. That was a dumb idea too, unless someone was really going to buckle their purse each time they closed it.

Oh I think I have that purse! My husband gave it to me some years ago, it's a Hermes "herbag" you can convert it from a handbag to a small backpack style purse. But it has that stupid belt buckle thing with no help to keep it closed other than a key! (which is at least attached on the outside when you get the bag). The belt buckle was a PITA to deal with. If you didn't use the key to lock it in place the belt would start to slide out...not a huge problem with the handbag, but a big problem with the backpack! Plus converting it to and from backpack to purse took a long time. I complained about it so much that I am pretty sure DH will never give me another purse.

I'm not 100% sure the keys are inside although I do feel something hard poking through the side of the bag, like it's in one of the inside pockets, you know? But I do know that the keys were not in the box, the wrapping, the dust bag, anywhere so either way I need the keys!

Wow that's scary! I would say that 50% of my bags are of the nicer variety meaning they cost more than $100. That's over a 10 year period of spending though.

The bag in the picture is navy because that is the stock photo. I actually got it in a light-medium tan color. Very neutral and I'm going to use it year round I know! Although, I don't usually follow those rules...I use whatever bag I feel like depending on my mood and what I'm wearing. :goodvibes
