I'm planning to rope drop DHS. Meeting Buzz and Woody and riding Toy Story Mania are our two priorities. I do have a FP for TSM but would like to ride it twice. Which should we do first thing?

Yes, the line for buzz and woody can be very long and if they take a break it could mean a longer wait than TSM.

I would head straight for TSMM ride it standby, then meet buzz and woody, then do your TSMM FP

Buzz & Woody first, then TSMM standby, then your TSMM FP. Their line can get really long, fast.

I'll go against the majority and say to do TSMM first. During 4th of July week we were at the park pre-rope drop, walked right on to TSMM and then walked right across to meet Woody and Buzz. There were only a couple families ahead of us and we waited maybe 5 minutes.

Does anyone know if they still do the green army men boot camp? I'd also like to do what OP is doing and then follow up w/ boot camp which I believe was once at ten.

We just did this in June. We signed up for JTA before 9, then we were held at an internal rope until 9. We walked over to Buzz and Woody M&G and we were the second family. We were done and in line for TSMM by 9:05-9:10. We waited maybe 10 min for TSMM. We had done Buzz and Woody, Standby TSMM, met Starlord and Groot and headed to Disney Jr. By 9:30. We were first for Sofia, then met Jake, Doc and Pluto all before 10.

The line for Buzz and Woody gets long and stays long. Do the meet and greet first, then the ride.

Thank you for all the answers! I was originally planning TSM first but I've never met Buzzy & Woody so I had no idea what their line was like. We'll go see them first and then do TSM!

If you only care about Buzz (not Woody), and if you happen to be at Magic Kingdom before your Hollywood Studios day - check to see how long the line is for Buzz. We had a hysterical interaction with Buzz at Magic Kingdom. The line was much shorter than the one at Hollywood Studios.

Thanks for the tip but my DD loves Woody. We do plan to see Buzz on our first day at MK but I have no doubt she's gonna go straight up to him and ask where Woody is
