Meet Anna & Elsa Question

Hi, The last time we were in Disney was Nov. 2014 and meeting Anna & Elsa had ridiculously long wait times, so we got a FP for it. We are going this spring and it is a must do for my daughter, so I'm wondering if we need a FP again or if the lines have gotten less intense since then.

They were still intense when I was there on Tuesday. I would recommend a FP.!

You need a FP, or you're still looking at 45-90 minutes, depending on dates.

It can depend
We hit them during EMH just before Christmas
They had no one in line at all
Cinderella and Rapunzel on the other hand had long line, 20-30 min
I checked other times on that day and their line was often less than Cinderella's
So while they do still get lines it is nothing like they were a year ago

Depending on how late the park's open when you are there/how late your party can handle, the wait times get considerably shorter after midnight (EMH or not). During the day, even when everything else is walk-on, they've had a 2+ hour wait.

We were there last week (1/4-1/8) and the wait times were consistently 60 minutes+ - we didn't want to use a FP+ on that, so we went one morning at RD and were second in line (while everyone else was at 7DMT).

We did rope drop run on a Saturday in November. Be at rope drop (30-35 minutes before open at least. Watch the show and then be ready to scoot! We had about a 15 minute wait in line at the attraction at that point. It's still a good amount of waiting minutes of waiting when you add that you have to arrive at RD early to be in a close to the front position, but it does free up your park time and when we were out the lines were still managable for rope drop lines. As a note - my DH and DS went on space mountain 3 times in a row while we waited for Anna and Elsa!

Midday on 1/5 and 1/7 I saw them hit at least 90 minutes.
