I haven't cruised with Disney since 2014, and we'll be on the Wish in August! I've got a meet thread started here, although nobody has responded yet, there's a pretty active group on Facebook. On my last cruise on the Fantasy, we were able to set up a meet and greet in person for our online group in one of the lounges. Is there a place where people are doing this on the Wish? Where would be a good place?

Thanks!

I'd suggest The Bayou if your doing one I think that would be a great place. Haven't really saw people mention other places. I know my groups didn't really plan any

Agree that The Bayou is your best option.

DH and I were recently lamenting that The Wish doesn't have a really large nice gathering place like The Classics do. Even the Dream class don't have a larger space like the spaces formerly known as Promenade Lounge on the Classics. It makes that embarkation day meetup difficult as well as activities. So many activities that DH and I wanted to go to on The Wish were completely full and we just walked away because the space just wasn't big enough to hold everyone that wanted to go.

Agree bayou would be good for indoors. For outdoors, Currents bar might be a good spot. It was never crowded and folks can have nice views.

The bigger challenge is that the Wish cruises are so short, it is a real challenge to get people willing to burn an hour of their time for a meet and greet. You don't have the incentive of forming "cruise friends for the week" like you do on a longer cruise, and there is so much to do and so little time. I'd expect pretty low attendance and be pleasantly surprised if it is otherwise.
