if you haven't already -- it makes it really clear about all the steps involved to use the train. Although it says the BIRG was 9 euros as of 2005, I had read recently on cruise critic that someone bought it for that same price as recently as fall of 2006 . . . even if it has gone up, I can't see it being more than 10 or 11 euros.

and all but, when I called about touring the city after checking in I was told that the all aboard is 8pm and that the boarding process will start no later than 1pm. I got this info about a month ago, so I don't know if it is still true.
