Last night at sea; we were all sad...it was a wonderful trip. On the other hand - we were excited...we were staying at DL for 4 days!!

The day we went through the Panama Canal... I HIGHLY reccommend taking a cruise ship through it...amazing!!!

The party afterwards if a lot of fun...way more food than one could ever eat!

Well - it looks like the menus are all there. Thank you everyone who helped!! I am sorry for the overwhelming number of posts. However, to read see them all - this was the way to do it. I now have to go find an old thread to post a picture of the costumes myself and 2 friends wore to the MNSSHP last year.

It was so interesting and eye opening to see the other side of the coin, I know this Island very well staying there four times before, listening to comments raised I felt pleased for the cruisers who got the best of their day there, and sorry for anyone who was misled or didnt understand.

These forums are excllent to get information, I know when I go to the USA I am not an expert so previous cruisers help. Sometimes there are misconceptions about Europe, for example my daughter had a medicial situation and we found a doctor quickly, you worry if there standards are up to ours, well he served her immediatly, and free of charge, in the UK you have to book a GP Three weeks in advance sometimes.

Tour reps want you to go on their trips to make money, many ease any worry, but for example I understand Rome can be reached by a fast train from the Magic's port, I remember staying in Sorrento just up from Naples, and going to Pompei by tour bus, only to find people from our hotel went by train quicker and cheaper.

Do your homework.

Everyone is very welcome. I am glad I could finally figure out how to do it! I am so excited about the cruises next year!! I have been creating packing lists already

I found that I way overpacked for the 14 day. This time I am going to use the laundry service a lot more! I am doing the eastbound crossing then the first 11 day - will I have any company????

DH and I are doing the first 11-day ...but no way could we swing the time off for both the crossing and the 11-day. I don't think my budget would have allowed it either, come to think of it ;-)

I was thinking the same thing! You go padalyn! That will be a pretty nice (and long!) adventure!

True - it will be a long trip - and the budget is taking a beating - but I thought it will be worth it...my boss almost had a small herd of cattle when I told him I would be taking the month off. Lucky I have that much time accrued!
