Also if you are a shy guy or have kids . In some of the restrooms the ladies clean both men and the ladies rooms. They just come in no announcement. I didnt care but my young son at that time will use the number 2 stall when he only had to pee.

None of the buses on our summer cruise had bathrooms (2 DCL excursions, 1 private excursion). Both stopped at very nice full-service rest areas.

Does anyone remember... are all the stops you made "full service" rest stops, by which I mean, did they all have actual toilets? Many years ago, I remember ending up having to go, somewhere probably in Greece and there was just a hole in the ground, ridges on the sides to support you squatting and some toilet paper. Has anyone encountered that?

They were regular bathrooms.

Not on a DCL cruise or excursion. However, I did have to visit China for work and once outside of the major cities.......

Did a China trip last year, and I'll tell you those squat toilets are murder on those of us who have old, arthritic knees.

I’ve been to China twice on business trips, and had anopportunity to do some tourist sites as part of the experience. That’s one of the reasons it’s unlikely Dw and I will never do a vacation trip inthat part of the world.
