Has anyone done this dinner, show attraction? Hows the food? Hows the entertainment? Is it worth the money? My DH mentioned that he would like to go but I have heard other wise that these shows werent worth the money.

We leave in 3 days!! Cant wait!!! SOOOO excited!!

Went once, several years ago. It was ok. The food is nothing to rave about, but it is certainly alright. The entertainment is jousting on a dirt surface so if dust while you are eating bothers you...
The best part of the show for me was when the falcon was released.

Probably worth doing once, especially with grade school children, but nothing I'm rushing to repeat.

I just saw the show at Medieval Times about a month ago. We really enjoyed the show itself, it was a lot of fun to watch, and I would recommend it if you are looking for something off site to do. The food was pretty good, we had soup, ribs, chicken, garlic Toast, hot potato and a pastry. Remember - no silverwear! Everyone in the crowd really gets into cheering their knight on. Oh, and if you decide to go, don't bother with the priority seating, it's a rip off - you can see well from anywhere in the hall.

The bad things are the L o o o o ng wait before they seat you and the constant in your face trying to get you to buy drinks, pictures, flags, etc.

No falcon release when we were there.

We were there 2 years ago and enjoyed both the food and the show. My son, 6 at the time, enjoyed it as well. You can pay extra to sit in the winners section, I think they call it priority seating or something similar.

We have gone twice in Myrtle Beach. My sons who are 9 and 7 love it. If you are going for the food - don't waste your time it is ok but you aren't going to come out of there thinking what a great meal. The horses are beautiful and the entertainment is pretty good. We went for my son's 8th birthday and they announced his name. There is preshow entertainment and for extra money you can be knighted. (which of course we had for our son and he got a picture of that.) It is an enjoyable evening.

I've been 3 times, though not recently. It is worth it to see at least once. The show is entertaining and the audience gets involved by cheering their knight on to victory. It is one of the better dinner shows in the area.

I think it is great if you really get into it (cheer, drink beer, etc...) THe dinner is pretty sorry in my opinion - if you don't want to eat chicken with your hands bring in your own plastic silverware...
The pictures they take of you when you first enter will be the cheapest - under $8.00 each - other pictures can be very expensive!. It was fun if you get into it - they have a "tavern" you can hang out in prior to the show and a big gift shop plus a Medieval village to look at (which is ok).
We had fun.

I've been to the one in Myrtle Beach a couple times. I thought the food was pretty good and I love the entertainment. I'm into the whole medieval thing. They're pretty good trying to get all your money, just like Disney. The horse show is pretty good and the knightly competitions are also pretty entertaining. But I probably would not go again unless I had some sort of discount.

I think Medieval Times appeals more to guys than to gals. My husband and son love it, we first took our son when he was about age six and last year at nineteen he wanted to see it again. The food is ok but the show is pretty exciting; it's in a big arena with the knights on horseback competing in games and concluding with jousting. Each section of the seating is directed to route for a knight, and people really seem to get into it.
