I am definitely bringing all my meds in their original pharmacy bottles that have my name on them. But I have 7 medicine bottles I am bringing. (NO LIQUIDS) I have them in a gallon size zip loc bag. Is this ok??? Also one of my medicines are round soft pills filled with the medicine. Not a capsule, just a little round pink ball that's soft....(it cannot be opened) is that ok??? Is that considered a gel coated medicine???? If it is then what do I do??

I think they are very strict about hte quart size bag. However, I believe you can "declare" your medicine on a form if it won't fit in a quart bag. Last week flying out of Milwaukee, my son's meds were in a quart bag and they said nothing. Coming home through Orlando, the TSA agent asked if they had been declared. I commented that they were in a quart sized bag and they let it through. Check the TSA web site, that might explain the declaration form.

Based on the TSA site,

The quart size zip bag is only required for liquids - and liquid prescription meds were always allowed as were all prescriptions. They do not count toward the quart bag for liquids. You may carry them in any size bag you want.

Declare meds separate from the liquids.

We had all our medications in a gallon zip lock bag (because I did not have quart size at home). At Minneapolis and at Orlando, they were not at all interested in anything except liquids. I had some nasal allergy spray, which I did put in the bag with our other liquid things (they had quart size bags at both airports).

Thanks everybody.....I have another question, (SORRY  ) Both of my children are on prescription meds for allergies....and I am bringing the medicine's in the pharmacy bottle that will have their name on it....can I put their's in my clear gallon zip loc with mine???

And am I clear that everyone is saying I have to declare it???
