Medical Needs Fridge

We will be going to WL on Saturday. Does anyone know how big a fridge for "medical needs" is? They said that they provide this at no charge but I was wondering if we would be able to squeeze a couple of bottles of water into it.

My daughter had to have her medicine refridgerated last April and they provided one for us at no cost.
I was one of those small dorm-room like ones. Sits about 2 feet high.
Yes, there is plenty of room for a few bottles of water and maybe a quart of milk and a few other items too.

Just beware. Disney has started using the extremely small (I would guess 5"x7" fridges for those requesting them for medical needs. Big enough for meds but nothing else. Not all resorts have/are using them yet.

When we were at WL last week another guest and I were chatting briefly.
The father mentioned a frig charge and I said something about reading frig's were provided free if they were for a medical need.
The father replied one of his kids was on antibiotics that needed to stay chilled. They asked about a frig and getting it free because if that. They were told No.

I find it hard to believe WDW would not provide refrigeration for medication.
Maybe he did not request it when he checked in, or did make it clear it was for the medicine.
I didn't even ask for it free of charge.
At check in, I simply stated that "we needed a fridge for my daughter's medicine". Before I said another word.....she quickly said...."no problem, we will provide one for you at no charge."

It was in our room even before we got up there with our luggage.

We stayed at CSR.

WDW is probably changing its policy because people are abusing their good intentions. You were fortunate to be provided a dorm size fridge but most are now going with the medicine size ones. Since it will only be used for meds then it is the perfect size. If someone needs it for meds but would like to put a bottle or two or water in it then they should be prepared to pay for a dorm size. It is only $10 a day and worth it.

We've reserved one for our upcoming trip in December. I can report back on what size fridge we get.

The disABILITIES board is a great place to ask this question. There are many there with lots of experience with WDW and refrigerators for meds.
