Kindly help...

Two travellers. Mears or something else?

Saving money helps.

Thank you kindly

mears would save you money if its just the 2 of you but for a few more dollars you can get town car service you would'nt be saving all that much i don't think using mears we used to only use mears but a couple of trips ago had to wait over a hour and a half in fla heat with screaming 4 y/o on sugar high just to board bus then we were the 8 th stop and last, another 1 hour and 45 mins till we got off the bus from boarding, last trip we used town car met us at bagage help with the luggage free grocery stop, free entrance picture, free bosster seat and we still beat the people on our flight to the hotel that were using mears

Since the previous post was one huge sentence without start or finish (or punctuations) I found it very difficult to read.
Let me try to help you.
Mears is by far the cheapest way to get to your hotel. If you were staying at a Disney resort you could use their free bus service that is starting on May 5. We used Mears once and will never do so again. We like the convenience of a town car that is waiting just for you. Mears will load as many people as possible and stop at any number of resorts along the way. You may get lucky and get there quickly. On the other hand it is possible to take a couple of hours for the relatively short run from the airport to your hotel. If cost is your only concern then go with Mears. If you want to enjoy your ride and get there in comfort pick a town car service. The difference in cost between Mears and a town car for two people is not that great. If you have more than two people a town car is likely cheaper since they charge by the car and Mears charges by the passenger.

Why did you need to put your two cents in about Mrfdny's post. Don't you think that was a little rude? Next time think before you type.

We usually take Mears. With a small group, it saves money. But we also enjoy the ride through the other resorts. It helps us learn our way around the Orlando area, and lets us view other places we may want to stay. We have never felt the ride was too long. The longest trips for us -- from the airport to a resort -- have been those where we rented a car!

Although it was years ago we used Mears, I'm agreeing with "mrFDNY" about the long ride and multiple stops when using Mears. Simply put, I'd rather dish out an extra Grant and have a calm, quick ride than to go through Mear's cattle car ride again.

I'm curious though, isn't Disney's ME partnered with Mears? I Love Disney... Hate Mears... if this is the case, I'm not sure I'd trust ME to get my vacation off to a magical start, or end.

The dispatcher at MCO acted as if she was paying us to use Mears. We waited for an hour and a half to finally drive around the entire state of Florida before we made it to our destination. (I'm exaggerating I know, but that's what it seemed like at the time). When we got ready to leave, we almost missed our flight because they were late picking us up.

I used Mears for my first trip to Orlando and it was also my last. Never again.
