Mears Shuttle Questions: Disney to Universal

Hi everyone,

Looking for some info on booking this from anyone who has used this service recently. We'll be going to Universal from Port Orleans for 1 day. Leaving in the morning, returning in the evening.

The Mears site does not contain the info I need, hoping all of you can help with a few questions...I've read a few threads here, but they are older, nothing recent. I want to be sure everything is correct.

1. What is the current price, per person, for a return trip? The site is not giving me a proper quote.

2. From what others have said, I have to call 24 hours in advance? Correct? And when we are leaving Universal, we have to call them t least an hour in advance for pickup. Is that correct too?

3. We won't be able to use our mobile phones to call them while at Universal to pick us up (we are not from the US), are there pay phones we will be able to use at Universal? Silly question, maybe, but where we live, seeing a pay phone is very rare

4. Do we have to be dropped off the same place we were picked up? We'll be picked up from our hotel but would like to be dropped back off at Disney Springs.

Any chance of adding an international plan to your phone? It'll really simplify your life if you have access to a smart phone. Uber/ Lyft, fast passes (at Disney), wait time apps/ Maps/ Schoen schedules...

We're currently looking into the costs of an international plan and will likely do it if our carrier has a decent one. We will have wifi access where it's available, just no phone access. Trying to cover bases with these questions though, just in case the international mobile plan doesn't pan out.

I would call Guest Services and ask them about either using their phones or where/if there are pay phones.

I do not carry a cell phone either, but we stay onsite, so I've never looked for a pay phone, sorry!
