Mears-"it's all part of the experience"

Does anyone else feel this way? I enjoy taking Mears from the airport to WDW. You can feel the excitement in the air, as you sit crammed in with other guests going for maybe their first time, maybe their honeymoon, sharing experiences-"where you going to stay?" "Have you ever eaten at.." Maybe I've just been fortunate not to get any unpleasant people traveling with me. It's been kind of fun. Am I nuts of does anyone else feel this way (maybe you're nuts too!)?

I don't mind riding Mears if it saves me a bunch of money. I don't generally talk to people though. Usually I'm reading a book.

I much prefer renting a car for my WDW trips. Hate having to stop at other hotels before getting to mine.

After taking three hours to get to my hotel a couple trips ago, I decided, 'time is money'. I will take a town car even when I am alone. First experience coming in November, so I am looking forward to that. Last trip in May, we stayed with DS in Tampa before driving to WDW for four nights.

Not me, my idea of the Disney experience is getting to Disney as soon as possible!
I use a town car service, it is well worth the money to me, even if I am travelling by myself.

I don't think you're nuts at all! Personally I prefer Happy Limo, but I do have my own "crazy" preference that is similar to yours. When we go on our cruises, I prefer a full ship to an empty one. I know it sounds silly, but I'd rather have a crowd around me sharing in the excitement. Once we cruised on a half empty ship, and I hated it. Sure, it was easy to get a good seat in the theater, but I hated the lack of energy. I wanted to hear the little kids around me shrieking with excitement as their favorite characters come out. So I guess it's not all that different from sharing in the excitement with a crowd on a shuttle.
