Mears Hotel pick up

Typicaly how far in advance does Mears pick you up from your hotel. I have a 7pm flight on a Saturday evening. I have had morning departures before and the pick up time was 3+ hours. Would the pick up time be more as there would be more traffic (en route and at airport).

3 (or maybe 4) hours ahead of flight time is the standard for Mears, in my experience. It's an annoying habit, but they do get you there on time (well, usually well ahead of time), and for a pretty reasonable price.

We don't use them anymore for this reason. We've been picked up 3 hours before, then had to stop at 2 other resorts to pick up other people. They are wasting my precious Disney time!

They once got my sister to the airport so late (after picking up other people) that they literally had to run through the airport to make their flight.

I don't think it will make any difference on a Saturday evening...no commuter traffic.

MEARS is somewhat of a crap-shoot regarding time. You must "over budget" time spent to use them because you will stop at each and every resort on their route before heading out to the airport.
Then you may get to the airport with hours to spare or only minutes. They do not work with your individual schedules--we wasted too much time with them the two instances we used them to get back to the airport. I'd rather relax at my resort than sit in a crowded uncomfortable airport.

We used Mears for our last 3 trips and were never picked up earlier than 2 1/2 hours before which is fine b/c you should be getting to the airport to check in 2 hrs before anyway.

I totally agree with you! Mears is NOT the way to go. Bad, bad experience.

We use Southern Elegance Limousines. They are wonderful. They say the airport asks the passengers be at the airport 2 hours in advance and we have ALWAYS been there in plenty of time and riding in style, no other stops, no idiot drivers, etc... Prices can't be beat and you have your own limo, to relax and enjoy the ride. Hope this helps with the mears riders...
