We're in the middle of a weeklong trip to WDW and we used DME to get to Disney for our first trip there. I had to come home yesterday for work-related stuff while my spouse stayed at Disney.
I purchased a one-way ticket for Mears from the Swan back to MCO before boarding DME and used it yesterday afternoon.
It was actually quite pleasant. We spent the morning at the Studios, then had a late lunch at the Yacht Club, then I just wandered over to the Swan. My flight was at 6:40 pm and my pickup was at 3:50 pm. The van was almost full when it arrived and myself and 4 other passesngers boarded. There were two seats left. We did make a swing through the Marriott World Center, but no one actually boarded, then we were off to the airport. We arrived at MCO at 4:35, plenty of time for me to get a book and a meal, then off to my gate.
Also, just an aside mention, traveling without any luggage was WONDERFUL!!! Wish I could do it more often. I dropped my phone, wallet, and shoes into the bin and waltzed through security, then quickly got off the plane without having to fumble for a carryon, then went straight out to the parking lot bus and off to my car.
I'll let everyone know how my return to All-Stars using Mears works on Thursday evening when I get to go back to Disney and finish the trip with DH.
