Does anyone know how to get a discount for a Mears towncar? Are there any codes or AAA discounts or Sam's/Costco discounts?
We are leaving for Disney in 10 days ( :cool1: ) and I am trying to figure out the best way to get to Port Orleans and also Universal studios.

Thought someone might know of something.
Please let me know!

Best way between airport and Disney and back: Disney's Magical Express. Free, just call NOW to make your reservations.
Best way between Disney and Universal and back: Mears, about $14 per person round trip (until you get to four people, then it's cheaper to arrange for a town car, rates vary but about $50 r/t plus tip)
Best way to find discount coupons for any business: Do a search for (in this case) Mears coupons

Above information based on not renting a car

Sunray Transportation is who we use for our Dinsey transportation. Its $60 round trip to be picked up at PO and taken to Universal and back. If there are 4 or more of you, this would be the way to go. I will always pick the car service over the mears buses. You just get personal service with the car services. Our driver Bob from sunray is the best. Give him a try!

Tiffany towncars has a coupon for $5 off your first reservation with them. Disney had been sending a Mears coupon for use on Mears shuttles with their confirmation letters, but is not doing that now because of Magical Express. The coupon was only good for the shuttles, not towncars.

Rates run about $85.00 round trip.

Hello from a former resident of Cleveland Heights!

Let me just back you up a little. Since you're asking about using Mears, my guess is that you've been to WDW in past years but haven't kept up with the latest news. Back in May of this year, WDW began offering Disney's Magical Express (DME) FREE to ALL guests who fly into Orlando's International Airport AND who are staying at a Disney owned-and-operated resort (POFQ is one of them). DME is 2 things: a bus ride to your resort, and back to the airport at the end of your stay; and a luggage service that will automatically deliver your luggage from your airplane to the inside of your room. After you check in your luggage at Hopkins, you won't see it again until it arrives at your hotel room. You don't need to wait for it, it will arrive INSIDE your room whether you're there or not.

Ask some more questions about DME if you need, or do a sarch of this site for other threads.

I miss Cleveland so much! :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Enjoy WDW!
