Good Morning Everyone.
Well, yesterday sure was a sad day here at the DIS.. finding out we all suffered a huge loss not just once but twice
Rest in Peace Montessori and FloridaCat. You will be greatly missed
So tragic, isn't it? When you have a community on a BB it takes on almost an immortal feel. We don't "think" that our online buddies can pass on as in real life and it has a very surreal feel when it does happen. I know I feel the same way as people in my support group pass on from our disease. You just get this comfort level where you don't feel that real things like that can happen.
*sigh*
Well, let me move on to some more upbeat talk. We all need a smile.
Well, yesterday it was confirmed that NOTHING in my life is the same anymore and I'm living in a bizzaro world. I was always the big time dog lover in my family (immediate family of 3 kids) I always had the entire "pack" of dogs - usually 4-5. One brother had one dog and the other was married to a woman that wouldn't even allow a goldfish in her house.
Anyway - the oldest older brother (the last one) got divorced and got a dog. Then another. Then another. in 15 months he got 3 dogs. a Silky Terrier, a Bichon and a Lhasa Poo mix. The other brother starts pining for another dog but his wife says no way. My mom, who is living with them now, keeps mentioning how nice it would be to have a puppy for the kids (since they got their dog when he was older - a stray they found) - the wife says no way. Last night we call up there and what do we hear? An unfamiliar bark - yes, the fever hit - they have a puppy. Not just a puppy - but TWO puppies. 2 Schnauzer puppies! I KNOW my Mom was behind that one!
I had her so addicted to my pack of poodles..lol Now we are all going to visit there next Tuesday - the total will be 9 humans and 11 dogs! It should be interesting!
Anyway, I have rambled on way to long.. on to the poll!
Today's question is...
"What is your favorite Pink?"
