Happy weekend to all!

I have to drag myself to work but I hope everyone else has some great plans for a long weekend!

Today's poll topic is

"What is your favorite kind of bird?"

I love to watch hummingbirds fly around!

Finches. Love to watch them in the winter at the bird feeder in the back yard.

I had to pick songbirds. Spring/summer is so short here that hearing a song bird just makes you . Hummingbirds however are a very close second.

I like all birds with the exception of roosters. They remind me of some of my students at school.

I voted for Raptors because I have a Red-Tailed Hawk that nests in the woods behind my house. I love to watch him soar around in the early evenings.

I'm such a bird fanatic, I'd have one of every kind if I could. I have to have at least one pet bird. I voted for the big parrots, but love them all!

I voted for Carions - Buzzards, Vultures because, although they are believed to be harbingers of evil and death, they do what nature intended by clearing animal debris. They are highly intelligent and useful members of the bird kingdom.

The Raptors are my favourite-the American Bald Eagle in particular.

My favourite bird is a Budgerigar, really cute. They can talk too, but Cockies are better at it

I do not care for birds. My best friend has a parrot type bird as a pet and it drives me absolutely INSANE...it is loud and obnoxious. Birds in the yard are okay, but I do not love them or even like them really. I feel obligated to say that robins are probably the nicest birds, but only because that is yours truly's name!!!!!!!!
