- Weather was odd - warm for the main, few raindrops but not that sunny as the above shows

- Crowds were non existant - we walked on POTC, IASW, PM, BTM was 10 minutes, Crush was only 35 minutes :woohoo:

- Wait times were showing on the board as between 5 mins and 25 mins (for Dumbo) - SM2 was at 5 for example - We looked at 11.30/2.30/4.00

- In Studios - ToT was at 5 mins as was RNRC, Crush was 35 mins - This was at 3.00

- Food :furious: Toad Hall, Fuente del Oro, Agrabah, Bella Notte, Café des Cascadeurs were all shut as were a lot of the snack stands - we ended up at EoS instead of Agrabah ...not happy

Apparently this is also the case in the evenings, there are very few c/s places open so if you don't want t/s or you haven't booked a meal it's going to be the DV for you :rolleyes2

I'll leave you with a load of Mickeys :goodvibes

ETA - Forgot the Princess Pavillon bit - Over a 120 minutes wait  There were a good 40 people behind the sign as well so they were looking at maybe 3 hours :scared1:

This was early afternoon

thanks Carrie, thats what we've mostly found midweek in low season every time we've gone, the counter service restaurants start closing long before the park shuts (ie around 5pm when the park is open until 9pm etc). I may need to ask on our first day whats available in the park, as our plan is to use counter service in the evenings more, and table service for lunch (and I don't want to be stuck with Caseys as the only viable option - yuk).

The thing was that this was at lunch time not even after 4/5 pm.

We couldn't find much open for lunch which is appaling.

It's also worse as it was the same on the 2 public holidays and the long weekends according to people on DCP who were there and ended up every night in McDo.

I don't understand why they close the restaurants in the day and even less so at night when the park is open to 22.30/23.00 :furious:

Totally agree with you on Caseys :scared1:

It definitely was the same during our stay April 27 to May 1 - Agrabah was open Saturday/Sunday, but the line was too long. Bella Notte seemed to be closed the whole time despite of the crowds. At least thanks to that now boyfriend no longer thinks EoS is the devil. ;)

Caseys had lines out of the door, so he even forfeited dinner voluntarily when we were waiting for Dreams Sunday.

I actually had a crepe as early "brunch" Sunday because nothing was open.

We were there too yesterday. We also tried to get lunch from Toad Hall and I was surprised it was closed, around 1:30pm :confused3

Weather was perfect for us, dry and a warm wind. It was so much quieter than the previous two days ( I know it had been a holiday). BTM was 5 mins in the evening and everything else walk on :thumbsup2

That's a bit annoying about the counter service places. Because the parade is on at 7pm I was planning on having our main meal at lunchtime and then C/S after the parade at 7.30pm ish. Sounds like that might not be an option!!

Is there any way of finding out when places are going to shut? Would City Hall know if we asked in the morning?

Hope the crowd levels will be as good when we're there in a couple of weeks!

Really bad about the restaurants :(

Love the pic of the mickeys! Did you notice how much them and the little minnies were? Trying to gauge how much pocket money for son to take (and I will take some for baby daughter!)

I agree about the restaurants :scared1:. We want to have cs some evenings too and don't really want to have to come out of the park to go to the village just to get something to eat.
