Meal planning what do you think?

So am trying my hardest to try somewhere different this time but there's just not enough time.

The plan so far is this:

Thursday - Walt's for a late lunch, doing the paris by night tour so no evening meal.
Friday -Toad Hall (never been) for lunch and either Inventions or Cafe Mickey for dinner.
Saturday - Blockbuster Cafe (never been and dd loves HSM) for lunch and Blue Lagoon for dinner.
Sunday - Inventions Sunday Brunch.

What do you guys think? Am really stuck with the Friday evening meal, want to watch fantillusion then take our time having a leisurely meal. Staying at DLH so thought Inventions would be convenient BUT didn't really enjoy our last and only time here. Love Cafe Mickey BUT really don't fancy waiting outside in the freezing cold to get our reservation ..... so any ideas

Does anyone have any experience of room service at DLH? am thinking about Thursday night after doing paris by night tour it will be late and we'll probably be hungry or will try to pick something up on the way out I guess dd could have a happy meal and we could go to Earl of Sandwich ... I say this because my dd won't eat sandwiches at all

Any input or suggestions welcomed please

We went to Agrabah and blue lagoon this trip, both were nice. How about you do a late lunch then just have a snack later on the Friday, that way it won't interfere with your parade watching.

We did room service twice at DLH last Christmas, DS thought it was great getting the food delivered to the room. The quality and quantity was good but as expected it was pricey.

I am normally a great lover of inventions, we loved Sunday brunch this trip but the evening buffet was disapointing not in terms of food but not a great deal of characters, much less than before, and not great interaction.

Thanks Wendy, I did read what you'd written about Inventions it's such a tough decision with it being a pricey meal I want to do a character meal so I guess I either have to accept I risk Inventions or feel like cattle outside Cafe Mickey We've always done a 6pm reservation there so have never really had to wait but I've heard tell and seen some pretty awful lines, we'd probably be looking at an 8:30pm or 9pm reservation somewhere.

I may see if I can get hold of a menu for room service, I think dd would be the same, she's going to feel like royalty as it is staying at DLH!

Glad Blue Lagoon was nice for you we had a lovely meal there last Feb so much that dd said it's her favourite

You arrive the day we leave to come home....

Noticed it was a bit difficult to get a booking at cafe mickey this trip, that's why we ended up in inventions twice so maybe a plan to book that by phone if that's what you decide.

Am going to phone up on Monday to make our reservations, definitely doing Inventions Sunday brunch really looking forward to it can you remember what times it is?

What time are you leaving .... high five at the DLH reception?

Think the brunch was 12 till 2.45, we went a 1. It was pretty quiet. The food was really good, mil commented she felt there was more non fish choices than the buffet at night.

We are getting picked up just after midday, what time do you arrive? See you in the lobby??
