Thinking of Sept or Oct trip for 5 nights and six days

If I book Poly for 5 nights can I get the meal plan?
(is the meal plan purchase tied to hotel room or park tickets?)

I was thinking about buying the Florida Seasonal pass, instead of buying 6 day park ticket.

Just can't figure out, why some say that you have to buy 5 room nights and a single base ticket to get meal plan. I guess the seasonal AP doesn't count towards a basic ticket when qualifying for the meal plan :confused3

Some advise to get one AP so you can get a hotel discount, and the second person in your party buying the 6 day MYW ticket. Does this then get you both in on the meal plan? Or does person with AP also need to still buy the one day base ticket?

I love the meal plan. For two people staying 5 nigths we'd get 10 table service, 10 coutner, and 10 snacks. Is this the same if we are both on AP's or if one of us is on AP... and the other buys tickets? Or would this only qualify for 5 table, 5 counter, and 5 snacks?

Second question.... Is A.P. same as seasonal-AP ?
(I was told that it is as far as benefits?)

Thanks in advance for any help pixiedust:

you would have to buy a one day pass.

go rent from a DVC member - after April - we get the Dinining Plan without having to buy the tickets....

however you would have to choose from VWL, BCV, BWV, OKW or SSR.

no Polyn.... :(

So now I have to figure out what it cost to rent from a DVC member. .. never thought of this before. (always something new around here)

BCV would be almost as good as Poly for me.

BCV is the most in demand. So it generally rents for more.

the SALB is the reason plus of course it is a great location.

just avoid fri/sat - twice as much if you can

Check out the DVC Rent/Trade board about renting points. Remember you do not pay taxes on renting points.
