Meal Deal -- ? about add-on Citywalk meal

How does the add-on Citywalk meal work? It states you must use this on the same day as the Meal Deal in the parks. I see the adt'l cost is $6 and you can choose 4 restaurants which offer a limited menu. Do you truly have to use this on the same day as the meal plan. Is this strictly involved. I see it asks for a day for use (only with the add-on CityWalk dinner coupon).

The CW Meal ticket you receive will have a date printed on it, and you will have to use it on that date. In addition, you must be wearing that day's Meal Deal wristband in order to use it.

They are rather firm on this. Meal Deal and CW Meal MUST be used on the same day.
