We arived in MCO at about 9pm last night, CM's were a little hard to find for directions, but had good directions once we found one. We got no tags so we went and got our luggage and then went to the welcome center. Not a problem at all, I thought it would be a big pain to go to B to get the luggage, back up to the main level then down to A for the welcome center, was all good. Lots of CM's manning the check in, took about 5 min for 3 couples and we were on the bus to POFQ and left quickly. Got to the resort in about 1/2 hour.. I would highly recommend this service, even without the tags it all worked just like it is advertized. Don't worry if you don't get your tage.

So if you have the Disney luggage tags, DIsney gets your luggage for you when you arrive at MCO?

Right. Your luggage gets scanned and goes directly to the Disney pick-up area where it's loaded on to a van and taken directly to your resort. It never sees baggage claim and you just check in at the ME center, board the bus and see your luggage in your resort room (there are various luggage arrival times that people are reporting - I guess it varies).

The Magical Express luggage tags, not the all purpose plastic, credit card type tags. With the ME tags, disney will grab your luggage at the airport and transport it on a different vehicle than the passenger bus to the resort.

Yep, just got my yellow luggage tags today. I am still concerned that they may not get all the luggage. But, the review of ME have been good, so I'll trust Disney to take good care of us. Thanks.

Can I use this with AirTran?
Yes, it doesn't matter which airline you fly, everyone flying into MCO is eligible to use ME to get to/from their Disney resort. The only place where the specific airline plays a role is when you are returning to MCO. If you are flying on a "participating" airline, you can check in for your flight at your resort and you can hand over your luggage at that time to be transported to the airport. AirTran is not a participating airline, so you will have to take your luggage with you on the ME bus back to MCO and check in as you normally do at the airport.
