ME vs. towncar

Hi, I'm heading to WDW as part of a land/sea package on June 12 for my honeymoon. I have already paid for transfers as part of my package, but after reading about some problems people have had with the Mears shuttle I am now considering using one of the towncar services upon my arrival to ensure a faster trip (plus the option of stopping at a grocery). Money isn't too much of a concern (it's a honeymoon). Anybody have suggestions on wether to stick it out with the ME or to go ahead and get a towncar?

"Mears Shuttle" and "Disney's Magical Express" are two different things. Although Mears is a subcontractor on DME, they are not in control of the whole thing (there are other entities involved, as well).

Since you said you already paid for transfers, you are not signed up for DME, which is free.

I used Mears years and years ago, and used DME a few weeks ago and had ZERO problems. That being said, if it was MY honeymoon and money was not an issue I'm 100% sure I'd get a towncar service. To me, having a chauffeur meet me with my name on a sign and help me with my luggage sounds like a fantasy, tailor-made for the start of a honeymoon. In fact, when you call to reserve, tell them it's your honeymoon and see if they do anything else special for you. ENJOY!
