ME Voucher Question

Do we really need the actual vouchers for the Magical Express if we already have a reservation? My dd is traveling from Los Angeles and I am flying in from NH. We made a couple of changes so our original vouchers were voided. They ended up sending her MY vouchers as well as hers and there isn't time to send mine to me. Will I have a problem checking in when I get there without my voucher? Thanks!

When I've used ME, they've always asked for the voucher at check-in. Last time they scanned it. Can she wait for you at the airport? If not, try having her scan the vouchers and then go to the counter and see if they can help you.

You'll be fine. You have a reservation; you'll just need to go to the actual Welcome Center counter to check in and get your voucher (re)printed.

Good point, I had forgotten about the Welcome Center.

When you get down to the ME area, the CM will direct you towards the check-in podium, but you want to go to the Welcome Center. It's easy to do (just ask the CM if you don't see it), but don't go to the podium because the CM will need the voucher. It also helps to have your reservation number, but they can look you up by other means.

Awesome, thank you both! :)

I promise you will be fine . Last year I left the booklet for all 7 of us at home . I went to the counter ( after a long line LOL) and they just gave me a sheet she printed out with all our names on it and now that I am thinking about it she gave us nothing for the return ride but we did ME on our way back . We just went out there and they had our name on the list already .

Thank you! :thumbsup2

FYI For the return trip back to MCO, the DME driver will ask for your return voucher. I had no idea I had one, packed it with the packet in my checked bag :confused3. He had me fill out my name and room number on a generic voucher.

Shaky.

You should have a confirmation sheet with your bus' departure time back to the airport. Normally this is delived to your room early in the morning of the day before the day you check out.

If you don't get the confirmation, you need to go to the front desk and get it that morning before, before you head for the parks.

Vouchers are used to better keep track of the number of guests riding the bus, although I am not sure how they avoid confusion since sometimes the vouchers are collected and sometimes they are just scanned using a hand held electronic device. A voucher without a date and time can't guarantee you a seat on a particular bus.

If she has a scanner, scan yours and email it to you then you print it out.. Or heck, anymore you can probably take a picture of it and her email that and you print that out.

Or of course just goto the counter and they will take care of you.

They not only scan them, they write the number of bags to be collected on it as well.
