ME time estimation

It's been awhile since we used ME. We are renting a car from the car care center and are trying to estimate our pick up time. Our flight arrives at 8:50 and we are staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. About what time will we get there?

If you're the type who doesn't stop in the airport as you're leaving and traffic is light (you don't say when you're traveling), I'd say 10:30-10:45 would be about right in terms of completing check-in).

I agree plan approx 2hrs.....but most likely it won't take that long. I would say I've been 70-80 minutes on average from the time I got off the plane to the time I arrived at the resort.

Last year we got off the DME at the resort 40 minutes after getting off the plane...but that was very rare. We went directly to the bus line and walked right onto the bus and left immediately....our resort was the first stop.

For the most part, you can count on AKL being the last ME stop out of 4 or 5 stops. Letting people off at other resorts before getting to AKL is what takes a lot of time.
