ME Tag Application Question

Last time we used ME, we never received our tags.

This time I have them, but don't know what to do with them.

Do they go on the suitcase like a sticker, flat? OR

Do they go over the handle and stick the ends together like the airport baggage tickets?

it's the second. there should be 2 per person. you fold it in half through the luggage handle and remove the squares at either end only (as indicated on the back of the tag) and they stick together.

this is what one tag looks like

(a lot of people mistake that for 2 separate tags)
