ME question

I currently have a LL for guardians at 11. We were just on webslingers and were walked off so we got MEs. If we go to guardians at 11 and use our magic bands to tap in will it use the guardians LL automatically or will it try to use the ME? TIA!

In my experience, as long as you are within the designated time for your LL, it will use that automatically. But do not try to use the grace period, or it will use your MEP. If your LL is 11-12 don’t scan at 10:59 or 12:01, make absolutely sure it is between 11:00 and 12:00.

That makes sense. It did let us use our LL within the time frame. I will just keep making sure this is the case.

Not sure if the "acceleration" strategy still works like it did in the G+ days, but when it did, if you had an MEP, it would always use your ride specific LL, even if the time window had not come, rather than the MEP. This allowed someone with, say, an Indy MEP, to basically pull forward LLs for every ride all day.

I'm not sure if that hack still works though. It was great back when I tried it but that was months ago.

Just used ME on 1/10. Your LL reservation won't use the ME. You have to open the ME in the Disneyland app, hit redeem ME, and there's a barcode that scans for each person eligible for eligible ME rides. HTH.

We used the ME at a time when we had no LL and it worked just using the magic band as well, so someone would have to be careful they were in their timeframe as someone above mentioned.
