ME question

I looked through the board and couldn't find an answer so I figured I would ask :)
We are going to the world on 9/20. My SIL has decided to join us but she will be flying in the day before us. I was considering flying in with my DD10 on that day as well and spending the day at the resort and DTD. We can stay in my SIL room that night and then check in the next day and DH and DS15 will arrive that evening. Would we be able to still use ME if we arrive the day before our reservation?
Another option we are considering is DD and I flying in the morning and then DH and DS arrive that night so DS15 doesn't miss school that day but we still get a girls day.:dance3: Can parties on the same reservation arrive separately and both use ME?
Of course I an really nervous about leaving DH to do all the last minute things that I usually check 8 times before we leave. Many a suitcase would have been left behind had I relied on DH's insistence that all the bags are packed in the car:rotfl2:

Parties on the same reservation can and do arrive on different flights. Just make sure each group has its own DME vouchers (not 100% mandatory, but then nobody has to stop at the Welcome Center and get theirs reissued).

For Plan A to work, you would need to be on your sister-in-law's reservation. You get DME transportation to WDW on or after the day your reservation starts, and transportation from WDW on or before the day your reservation ends.

If you fly in a day early, you'll be considered a walk-up - and DME can't transports walk-ups.

Thanks, that is exactly what I figured. Still considering it though as I may only be able to get 2 free tickets with our miles if we fly on Wednesday and it would still be way cheaper even if we have to take a car service. It would be such a hardship to fly in early :rotfl2:
