ME question

but my SIL wants to know about a car seat being used on ME??? As in, she wants to use one for my nephew who will be about 1 1/2 at the time of travel. I told her I think babies go on laps on ME...but I would ask to make sure....as we never took our DD's on ME with a car seat...not even sure its possible...PLUS she has to realize if she is using Disney transportation system there will not be car seats (monorail, boat, bus!!)

Nope, no car seats on DME, as you thought. There is no way to afix them to the seats, so if a car seat is dragged along, it will have to go underneath the bus.

car seats go under the DME bus.

Your child can sit on your lap or in the next seat.

There are no seat belts on the ME bus and car seats can not be used.

I have taken my children who are now 9 and 5 on since 8 months. I have never used a car seat. They don't have seat belts, so car seats are not allowed. The buses from the resorts to the parks don't allow car seats either. The child will be fine as long as your SIL is able to keep an eye on the child. Sitting on the lap is a good idea. If she brings a stroller, remind her that an ordinance prevents her from having it open on the bus as well.
