I noticed on my reservation, they have the correct flight #, but the pickup time is shown as 12 AM, and the same for departure. Do all ME reservations show this, or should I get it changed to the correct arrival and departure times?

This is the way they do it. They only need your flight date and flight number, so as long as that information is correct you are all set.

Why they don't update their reservation system to omit the flight time fields I cannot say. :)

I notice you mentioned pickup times...upon arrival there isn't any reserved pickup time at MCO; you just go to the DME area for your resort's bus. For departure, the day before leaving you will receive a DME envelope with your specified pickup time at your resort.

For your arriving flight the time doesn't matter. Just make sure they have the correct date and flight number.

For your departing flight, however, ME will need the correct flight date and number because your ME pickup time at your resort will be approximately 3 hours before your flight. We usually wait until we arrive at the resort, then either call DME (the number is on the paperwork you received) or go to the concierge's desk to give them the correct info. Just be sure to do it at least 2 days before your departure because you'll get the DME info the day before you leave.

In my experience you don't need to provide DME with your flight's departing time, nor do they ask for it. They use the date and flight number and check against the airline's schedule for you, and that determines your resort pickup time.

Incorrect; they need the correct flight departure date and number. Flight times can shift from a couple of minutes to a couple of hours. The ME computer picks that up and will shift the ME pick-up time accordingly.

Our flight time shifted several times, during the course up to our check-in date. As long as they had the flight number, it continued to monitor it and on the departure day, we had the correct ME pick-up time.

I was just coming to ask a similar question! I noticed when I check my package details online somehow the return flight time shifted from p.m. to a.m. since I originally entered it (flight time has not changed in reality). Date and flight number are okay though so after reading this thread sounds like I'm okay!:goodvibes

Going to Disney, 12:00 on your Magical Express reservation is a magic number; you are not obliged to telephone in and correct it.

Going home, you need to make sure your bus time is correct, the sooner the better but at the very latest on the morning of the day before check out day. It should be about 3 hours before your flight time (4 hours for international guests). A somewhat lesser time is a goof by a reservationist CM, not a lucky extra hour in the parks for you. This is semifinalized on the confirmation sheet delivered to your room that morning of the day before checkout day.

Additions, changes, and corrections may be done down at the resort front desk. You can always request and get a bus time earlier than the minimum 3 (or 4) hour time before your flight, if you want or need to do some extra things at the airport such as grab an extra snack.

Long story short....12:00 is listed on the majority of DME vouchers, for arrival into MCO, simply because DME needs to know only that you are arriving that day...time doesn't really matter to them. Why? Because you aren't assigned a specific bus. Once you get to MCO, you may decide to shop a bit, or get something to eat. It could feasibly take you an hour or so to get to DME...depending on what you do along the way between the gate and the DME checkin area. So....DME needs to know only that you arrive that day.

Now...for your departure, ride back to MCO??? Yep, they need to know the exact time of your flight. This is what your DME pickup time from the resort is based on. You are assigned a specific bus this time. So, if you weren't able to give DME your exact flight info when you booked DME, call them and give them flight numbers as soon as you know them.
If you haven't done that, you can give it to DME when you arrive at DME and checkin for your resort bus....a lot of times they have questioned me about my return flight when I first arrived at the bus podium. Or, you can give the info to the front desk when you check in. Just don't leave it until too late. DME has to know your return flight info no less than 36 hrs prior to your departure...more than that is really better.

As long as DME has your date, airline, and flight number for your return flight, you are set.

You don't need to keep them updated with changes to the flight time itself. They use the flight number to check the airline's schedule.
