ME or rental car?

Back when Mears ran the bus to Disney I tried it and said never again. We loved the convience of the rental car and picking one up in the terminal.

But now I'm wondering how long the wait for the bus and how many resorts you have to go to before your stop? I thought I saw the name Mears on the side of the bus in small print which makes me think it could still be inconvientent at times.

I like the price of the bus.

The price is great!

The DME buses usually have no more than 3 total stops. If you are travelling to OKW, there are usually guests staying at SSR and PO on the same bus. Usually either OKW or SSR will be the first stop.

We've used D<E many times since it started and it is a far superior service compared to the "usual" Mears transportation. We've never waited longer than 30 minutes for our bus to leave MCO and often the wait has been 10 minutes or less. I'm sure there are exceptions, but it really is a nice convenience ... and the price is great!

Guess it depends on what time you arrive at MCO. We took a redeye arrived about 7:30am. We checked in at ME, there was no other guests. Walked right on the bus and it left right away. We were the only people on the bus. Rented a car at the Dolphin and drove back on to the airport after doing airline and luggage check in at BWV. Sweet.

A couple of weeks ago we had a 2:30 PM arrival. Our DME had 5 stops.
