Hey there. For all who don’t know me, I’m Michelle – a 31 year old, Pirate chasin’, Disney lovin’, Jersey gal and I’ll be your guide through this crazy adventure! Let’s see, what fascinating details can I share about myself… Well, by day I work (through a temp service) for a veterinary pharmaceutical company and I love it! Along with DH, we are foster parents currently without any little ones to care for. I enjoy movies, photography and people watching. DH prefers to think of it as me being nosey!

DH (32) – I love him to death, really. But he absolutely despises WDW. His last trip was in Aug 2006 when we took our kids. Since then, he hasn’t been back and doesn’t care to go back EVER. However, his parents, brother & nieces wanted to go during free dining – so nah, nah, nah, nah nah – he’s going back in August anyway! Is important to this TR because he will be the one chauffeuring me to and from the Atlantic City airport!

PART 1

Why Disney? A little bit of a back story if you will. My parents took me to the Magic Kingdom right around the age of 1 month. They drove straight through from Jersey, all the way to Florida just to take me to see Mickey! I’m pretty sure that’s when and how my love for all things Disney started. Through the years, my parents took my DSis and I on “day trips from Jersey” to Disney. They usually involved driving from NJ to FL in a day and a half, staying offsite, hitting the Magic Kingdom for one or two days and then driving right back home. I loved those trips – no matter how rushed they may have seemed, they gave me great memories of family time. DH and I honeymooned in Disney and were able to give two trips to our special little ones that aren’t with our family any longer. So short story long, WDW holds an extremely special place in my heart. I can go there and see something and can relive the special memories of trips gone by. It’s just, well, magical! You wouldn't believe how much grief I get from my DH and his family about why I "need" to go to WDW every so often. Hey, I enjoy the good life and that's what Disney gives to me, so I go back as often as possible.

PART 2
10 Days of Disney Fun

A little bit on where I’m staying and a “basic” itinerary

Trip dates: Friday, May 30 – Sunday, June 8

Last year I spent a night or two at Fort Wilderness (FW), roughing it in a tent, and absolutely fell in love with the place! FW is huge and gorgeous. I’m pretty sure that I could spend a week there without ever stepping foot in a theme park! So of course it was a natural choice for me this trip. The only thing that worries me is being in the heat, but they have plenty of air-conditioned spaces for me to relax in, so I think all is good.

Here’s the itinerary that I’ve settled on so far. Pretty sure that it will change at least a dozen more times before I actually get there.

Friday, May 30th
Early flight from Atlantic City (ACY) to MCO; Fort Wilderness check-in; Downtown Disney (gotta get my Mr. Potato Head pieces) and Magic Kingdom (with PM EMH they are open until 2am)

Saturday, May 31st
Epcot to enjoy the last weekend of the Flower & Garden Festival
Pirate & Princess Party (4pm – mid)

Sunday, June 1st
Magic Kingdom (PM EMH) open 9am – 2am

Monday, June 2nd
Animal Kingdom (PM EMH) open 9am – 11pm

Tuesday, June 3rd
I haven’t really made any plans yet for today

Wednesday, June 4th
DHS in the morning
Pirate & Princess Party (4pm – mid); if I get to see everything I want to at the PPP on the 31st, I may skip tonights PPP and just stay at DHS which has PM EMH until 1am

Thursday, June 5th
Epcot (PM EMH) 9am – mid
I have lunch ressies at Le Cellier – it will be my first visit to this restaurant

Friday, June 6th
Magic Kingdom (PM EMH) 9am – 2am

Saturday, June 7th
DHS for Star Wars Weekends!
Early night at FW so I can pack everything up for my departure tomorrow

Sunday, June 8th
I’ll use today to take in my favorite attraction or 2 at each of the three parks (DHS isn’t my cup of tea except for character hunting, so I’ll skip going back there)
Epcot (AM EMH)
Animal Kingdom
Magic Kingdom
Flight home

Sounds exhausting, but I know that I’ll have a lot of fun with everything. I get to see the Pirate & Princess Party, Flower & Garden Festival and Star Wars Weekends. Who could ask for anything more!
