ME day after we arrive

We are arriving in Orlando the day before our first day at WDW( my wife is a flight attendant on SW so we fly free, but its standby so we want to give us plenty of time to get there). We are going to stay at an airport hotel the first night. My question is this: Would you take the hotel shuttle back to the airport and catch Magic Express to Disney or go with a car service. I figure with a car service we can leave the hotel at our time and go straight to ASM. Also on the last day we would like to go to Downtown Disney for a few hours and with ME don't you have to leave 3 hours before your scheduled flight?(don't know what time our flight will be for reasons above, but not nearly as important to get back as it is to get there) any ideas?

I could be wrong, but I think you can only use ME when you arrive at the airport. I do not think you can wait for the next day. How would they get your bags off the plane?

They wouldn't get the bags off the plane, the bags would be with you already and you would take them on the bus. It could be done by picking a flight that arrives in the am and listing that as your flight. I think I would rent a car or use a car service at that point though - unless you have a long trip planned and plenty of time to waste.

Yes that would work but you wouldn't be able to use the luggage delivery end of it. And since you will be flying SW, you can't check your luggage at the resort when you leave.
I think you would almost be better off using a car service....then you could just leave right from your first night hotel, and then leave WDW when you want to at the end.
but, you could do it with DME..just not the baggage part upon arrival. If you choose to use DME, then you should give them the appropriate flight info, but use the next day. For example...you are arriving on flight 123 on Tuesday. Tell DME you are arriving on flight 123 on Wednesday. Then, take your bags to the DME check-in desk and proceed as normal...taking your bags to the bus with you.

For your ME reservation, name a flight, any flight, any airline, arriving at Orlando Airport in the morning at about the time you expect your short shuttle ride from the first night hotel to get there.

Thanks, I think I will go with the car service since it seems easiest...I've looked at FL Tours, any other good ones?
