ME and marathon weekend

Hi all!

I didn't realize when I booked our mommy and me surprise birthday extravaganza weekend that it coincided with the marathon.

Our return flight is Sunday at 10:30 out of MCO and I was wondering if there will be delays, due to the runners, and therefore an earlier then normal pick up time?

I have no idea what the marathon route is, so I thought I'd ask.

Any thoughts? We are staying at POR riverside.

Yes, you might get a pickup time earlier than the usual 3 hours. The route starts and ends at Epcot, but goes through all four parks. It starts really early in the morning, and there might be some disruptions in the usual traffic routes. Not a big deal if you're using Disney transportation, but DME might schedule your pickup maybe an hour or so earlier anyway.
