If there is an infant on MDE and we are getting extra goodies, like a desert party, I'm not paying for the infant, right?

Why do infants to be on MDE at all?
We did not have our daughter on the MDE until she turned three.
Because they count towards total room occupancy and on dining reservations. You also get a mb for them (even if there isn't a ticket on it) which is a great souvenir and can make older "infants" 2 1/2 yr olds feel like they're just like their older siblings

Oh, okay, thank you. I didn't think about this. Our daughter is 4 now and this is the first time we are staying on site. And we didn't do ADRs on our last visit.

My 2.5 yo great nephew is on the MDE, but it would NOT let me put him on the ADRs. I did get reservations for four--the other three of us on the MDE and a "guest". Is there something I'm doing wrong?

No, I'm not sure why you're getting that message, but it really doesn't matter if all the guests are listed by name on the adrs
