MDE - something doesn't seem right

1. Are you able to see previous trips in your MDE account? We went in November of 2013 with Magic Bands and there is no listing of it.

2. When I log into my account I can see the current trip (Jan 2016) listed and under family it has the four of us plus me listed twice (5 total). I can see the park tickets and magic bands listed for each person (there's only one of me showing with tickets and magic bands) and I can see the memory maker listed. This is the account I will use to make my ADR's tomorrow. I logged in on a different computer and it accidently logged me in under an old account (in November I had to set up two accounts because I'm Canadian and when I originally set up my account MDE wasn't available so a SM told me to set up a new account so I could access it) but I noticed I can see my resort reservation and my memory maker in that account too. I'm assuming this account is why I'm listed twice in the main account. How would it have known to link the accounts (when I didn't even remember I had a different account) and will that affect me somehow? (meaning should I unlink them and if so how do I do that)

3. If I want to use my original magic bands on this trip in addition to my new ones can I do that and do I need to do anything since they aren't showing in MDE?

4. I just looked again and in my main account when it shows my name twice one has (me) in brackets. When I click on that one it shows my ticket and reservation which is good. When I click on the one that doesn't say (me) it says there is no reservation under my name which is also good but I feel like that one is/should be the one with the other email account so why do I show a reservation when I log into that account. I feel like it's going to mess me up somehow.

I don't know if this will help you, but I will tell you what happened to us. My husband was listed twice on our MDE, somehow once when my brother invited him and once when I created out account. Two years ago we went to WDW before and after a cruise and had two sets of magic bands in two different colors. Unfortunately, the two listings under my husbands name created a lot of problems. His fastpasses were not on the bands that I thought were attached to the 2nd half of the trip and when we went to the park he could not access them along with me and my brother and his wife. It took about 2 hours to fix.

When I went on MDE to create plans for our upcoming trip I could not figure out how to fix the problem so that I could make sure that I was continuing to include all him in all the plans and not pick one of his names for one ADR and another of his names for another. (I know this sounds confusing.) The solution? I happened to call a CM about our reservation and she told me we could easily fix the problem, and they did. She transferred me to the IT brigade after explaining the problem and they combined the two profiles under one so my husband simply had one profile. They did not delete one, just combined them and then all the bands and itineraries, etc. only showed up on one profile for him.

I think that maybe what you may need to do to fix your MDE. Not sure. It may be that each profile for each member may need to be combined.

BTW, after we combined his profiles, all the bands showed up under one profile so he could use them interchangeably.

That kind of sounds like the problem I'm having (two profiles) but the previous magic bands aren't showing up under either profile. I guess I'll try calling tomorrow and see what's up. I do seem to remember my magic band was having a problem on our last trip - it was no problem for the fast passes but at least twice it wouldn't scan at the gates, it may have had something to do with the two profiles.
