How do you link your DVC membership to My Disney Experience?

I know you can link your reservation by entering your reservation # & last name but is there a way that it automatically gets linked?

Thanks

Call Member Services they can help you link the two accounts.

You can do it online. Go to your MDE account. Click on "profile", then "about me", then "affiliations". Enter your DVC Member club i.d.

Affiliations doesn't come up as an option, does using an android smartphone make a difference?

I just went to My Disney Experience with the intention of adding my DVC info.

There was a 'club' number already in my profile, but it is NOT my DVC member ID number, nor is it any contract number. The format is xxxxx.x

No idea where this came from and it is not any number I am familiar with. I did not add it in myself.

Was it pre-assigned by Disney??

I cannot change it online. Do I call MS or is it not a big deal?

Each DVC Member has a unique Club ID number assigned to them. Within a membership, the .X will be used to denote individuals. You also use the Club ID when setting up access to DVCMember.com (along with a one time use Access Code).

If you log on to DVCMember.com and then select 'My Profile' from the 'My Membership' (drop down), you will see your Club ID there under Membership Information.

I called MS and they helped me link them this morning. I so wish I had known to do that BEFORE I tried to do my 180 +10 bookings. Maybe I would have gotten Chef's Table if I had known about that. I was able to add in my reservations and trips after that, so now everything should be linked.

Diane, I am so sorry you missed this info, I have been sharing it for weeks every time that anyone mentioned they were having problems.

I am still hoping you get your reservation.

Is there a place to add your Castaway Away ID number to MDE along with your DVC number?

The current 'Affiliations' are Florida Resident, DVC and Passholder. The Passholder Affiliation has been temporarily disabled.

Currently, the 'Affiliations' only provide for discounts on disneyworld.com. Any in park discounts will still need to be validated by showing the appropriate card (passholder RFID card, DVC Member Card, TiW Card, etc). Don't see them adding the Castaway Club ID any time soon.

Great:confused3

Is this another number I am going to have to remember????

Nope. About the only time you will ever need the Club ID is when you first setup access to DVCMember.com. If you don't have it then, you can get that with a phone call to MS.
