MDE Frustrations

I'm planning a trip with my family in November and thought it might make sense to register on MDE just in case that FP+ was available by then. That way, I could invite the other four family members in our party to share our itinerary and maybe schedule FP+ together. However, I've found MDE to be extremely frustrating. I can add my wife, for example, as a member of my family and she'll show up in my family and friends . . . until she accepts my invitation, at which point she disappears from my family and friends list. Further, we have a dining reservation with all five names of our party listed, but we can't make that dining reservation show up on anyone's itinerary but mine. Are we just completely incompetent when it comes to figuring out this site, or is it just too glitchy to even be useful? Thanks!!

The latter. We've decided not to do anything to MDE lest everything gets so messed up I end up spend hours on the phone and at the resort fixing it.

Me too! We're traveling in Jan. Same problems with MDE - just going to wait until Dec to try and make it work...hopefully we won't miss anything in the meantime.

Oh, don't worry. It's totally confusing at times.

After your wife has accepted the invitation and then disappears, have her log in, go to Profile, and then Families and Friends. She should see your name. Click the name. Then, press Edit. Make sure that the box is checked next to "This person often travels with me." Also, click next to "View all my activities." Then press Done.

Then, you log in and do the same.

I believe this is what you need to do to get her to show up on yours (and vice versa) if my memory is correct.
