MDE Friends and Family

I added relatives as F&F to MDE because they were guests in our villa. Covid cancelled our trip and I want to remove them from my list. I have no idea if they have their own WDW accounts but they most likely have DisneyLAND accounts. Will me removing them from my list cause any problems for them?

I don’t know. I could never get anyone deleted. It could be me but the list is long from people who I have taken who won’t be invited back with me! Lol

I've read more than once that people had to call the Disney Tech people (I think the number is 407-939-4357) to have extra names removed from their F&F lists.

Seems silly to waste resources for something that shouldn't be that complicated.

Can confirm I've sometimes had to call and have Disney remove people from my F&F. The web site is super buggy when it comes to things like this. I've spent way too much time on the phone with them over the years getting things fixed with my F&F list and connected accounts.

I guess I will have to call as well. I just tried to delete people and it says "unable to complete request".

I have been able to remove people via the website. Under family & friends, choose 'update' for the person you wish to remove, and then 'remove from this list.'

I just tried this and now it says, "Guest cannot be removed because they have active admission or plans" and I know for a fact they don't.

Yep. If they have even one ticket or MB listed, even if it's completely used/inactive/otherwise invalid, that will prevent removing them. Crazy!

Ah. I'm sorry you're having technical difficulties. I haven't had to remove anyone in some time. I hope you can get it resolved!

If there is a MagicBand (or RFID Card) linked to that persons profile, you will not be able to delete them yourself.

I already deactivated their magic bands but it still won't let me remove them. I'll call MS for help.
