MDE Error?

I just booked a MYW vacation package with my wife and my two children. MagicBands are not showing up even though I am staying at ASSR. Whenever I try to link it, it gives me this error :

Error: This reservation was made by ______ and is already linked to a Disney account. Please contact _____ regarding this reservation.

Did I do anything wrong? Everything is linked on my Disney experience (resort, tickets) but my MagicBands are not showing up and I can't customize them :confused3
 

Oh, I think I get it. I didn't pay the full price ; I just payed a 200$ deposit. So does that mean once I pay the full price I can customize them ?

I'm able to customize my bands for an August trip that I've only paid the $200 deposit.

You can customize them anytime from the moment you make the reservation and it shows up on MDE.
 
Are you on the MDE app, or on a PC? Mine was doing that on the app last week. I went to a PC and signed in and everything was there and right and in my name like it was supposed to be. I can't remember if mine started doing it right after I updated the app, or if there was an update I needed to do. In any event, it seems like after I signed in on the PC, it started working right on the app again. Try to sign in on a PC. If that doesn't work, then call. The fact you have only paid the deposit won't affect anything.

That exact error is happening to me also. On the website the hotel link is fine, but on the mobile MDE app, I can't link the hotel as it says it is already linked to someone else account in my party. I called and they seemed to be somewhat aware there was a problem, and took my name to put on a list of customers with the issue. That was two weeks ago, haven't heard back.
 
Do you guys know if I have to pay the full price (minus the 200$) another day or can I just pay the remaining price slowly (ex. once a week I'll pay 150$) ?

You have to call to do that but yes you can pay in increments as long as you are paid in full by the 45 day mark.

You don't have to call. You can pay as much as you want to in increments online and the balance is now due 30 days before..not 45.

That is good to know. Every time I have tried to pay online it has been all or nothing.

Odd. But it is Disney and we all know consistency is not their strong suit so that's not surprising lol
 
been making payments on 2 reservations with no problems. all bands for both reservations are customized over a yr out when I booked. changed hotels 3x(phonecalls) and even added memory maker etc... and I'm still not paid off and trip is in Dec.

probably will have many more changes coming with Dining plans and fastpasses. but so far so good. the app didn't show a lot of my stuff for awhile but eventually it all showed. found mistakes on their end. Phone calls are best for that. They have also hooked me up to IT helpdesk for linking problems.

in all this I have found that a pc running Disney experience is the most reliable !!!!!
