MDE 101

How does the reservation show up on all the accounts? Sorry to ask such dumb questions but I started this thread for a reason. Did you start seperate MDE accounts right from the start? I am afraid to start seperate MDE accounts for all of us now due to issues discussed above.

You would need to connect with anyone that has their own MDE account by entering their email to invite to plan and share when you add them to your Family & Friends list.

I did.

For individuals that have their own account, it's easy to connect with them at any time by entering the email address they used to setup their MDE account. Once the invite has been accepted, any shared plans will appear on both accounts.

Using the MDE website to connect with a profile that one of your connected friends manages is currently broken. It does work using the MDE mobile app.
 
Have you tried that lately? When my wife is in her new profile, since she is connected to me. she sees the other profiles I manage, but when she clicks on one of the profiles I manage to add it, she gets an error message that says fu-u-u-u-u-u-mble with pictures of monsters inc characters.
As for the managed profiles, the 'Add Through a Mutual Friend' option works correctly on the MDE mobile app.

I created a fake managed profile on my partners MDE account and tried to connect to that using the MDE website and got the same error.
I tried the same using the MDE mobile app (iPhone) and it worked.

The really bad part I am having with the website function is that after my wife got the error message using the add through a mutual friend, I sent an invitation by clicking on the "connect by sending an invitation" icon next to the new profile I manage. When she logged into her MDE and saw she had a notification, she clicked on that notification and accepted. However, that actually reconnected her to my original profile, not the new profile I manage, and worst of all the new profile I manage also disappeared from my MDE account.
If you create another fake managed profile on your partners MDE, and use the website to send yourself an invitation to connect does the same thing happen to you when you also accept using the website?
