My mum has difficulty walking so when she and my sister went to NY last year my sister organised a wheelchair at the airports. At JFK this meant that they were last off the plane but at JFK immigration there was a specific lane for wheelchair users which was empty so they were able to get through quite quickly.

Can anyone with experience of using a wheelchair tell me if this is the same for immigration at MCO or do wheelchair users use the same lanes as all other passengers ?

TIA :goodvibes

Yes there is, we used it a few years back as mum mum has difficulty walking and this year we will again as she cant walk far or stand unaided very long

They have a special line for wheelchair users. It can be busy but should be quicker than the normal line. I felt sorry for the staff as they had one person pushing two wheel chairs.

With VA we had to stay on the plane until everyone else had disembarked then the wheelchairs were waiting just outside the door. There was a separate lane on the right that they used for immigration:)

gone through with sticks, trolley and in my chair. There is a lane for the chair, and if using sticks or trolley then they sometimes send you through the wheelchair line and sometimes through the less busy US internal line.
