I need information on the best (inexpensive) way to transport 25 people from MCO to Quality Suites, Kissimmee Maingate East.

I have a group of Girl Scouts (a mix of 15 youths, 10 adults) that will be arriving MCO 3/13/2004 at 11:45 PM and returning to MCO 3/19/2004 for a 6:30 AM flight.

I would prefer to get a bus to have everyone together, but since the Girl Scouts raised their own money, budget is the main objective.

Following is information based on requests (totals are RT with gratuity):
transportation2disney.com - no response
Airport Ability - $244
Family One - $288
MH Tranportation - $260
Happy Limo - $361.5
FL Tours - no response:confused:
Orange Trans - no response
bestcoachusa.com - no response
triotrans.com - no response

The best price is Airport Ability, but in my research no one has commented on them.

We can't decide to go witht the lowest & unkown or something else. Any suggestions would be appreciated.:D

Welcome to the DIS Forums -

I think you should check out the Mears shuttle - I have not used them but I believe they can transport either small or huge groups of people. I believe though that it may be $18 pp each way and that doesn't sound like any deal - but perhaps I am wrong. You can check them out at www.mearstransportation.com and perhaps they offer a discount on large groups.
My husband and I have used Happy Limo in the past and have been very happy with the service. From researching on these forums, I can tell you that I have heard of Happy Limo, FL Tours and Best Coach only - not to say that the others aren't also good. Hope this info helps - good luck:)

I would second the try to get a bus or looking into Mears.

When I went on my senior trip, we had a bus to take us to/from the airport and to US. We had like 40 people so it was a normal size bus, but maybe you would fit into one of those limo-sized busses. I'm pretty sure that was from Mears, but it was a couple of years ago, so I am not 100% sure.

I know a couple of the towncar companies have those as well. Have you priced getting 3 vans from the towncar places? That may be close to the other prices as well.

The cost of renting a bus for the whole week would be way too prohibitive.

The prices that I listed previously were for multiple (2 or 3) vans. The prices for small buses were considerably higher than multiple vans. This suprised me, I am not sure why.

Mears at $18*2 way * 25 = $900.
I sent Mears an email asking about price, but no response after one business day.

I will continue to evaluate, but any more information would be appreciated.

We have always preferred to use FL Tours for our transportation. Andy is a wonder guy who will see to it you are taken care of.

FL Tours is the official transportation company of the DIS and by using them we are supporting these boards. I know that I would be lost when it comes to my Disney planning without these boards.

Look at the top of the page - you will find a "click her to book" link. This will take you to www.fltours.com/reservations.htm you will find a toll free number there to contact them - if you describe your needs I'm sure Andy will take great care of you.
