Oh 100% I'd stick to precheck- but precheck is getting closed until the dhs shutdown stops. Still open today despite the announcement but that's not expected to last
ETA- jk! Pre check Closure is off. For this minute anyway
We’ve used it the last two times we’ve flown out of MCO. Will always use it going forward. So easy to sign up! You then use the far right line, the one for accessibility screening and the wait was nothing. QR code emailed to you, grace period on either side of your time slot, I believe it was 15 minutes either way.
We haven’t used it yet (haven’t had the opportunity), but plan to use it in June. I haven’t booked our flights yet, but we often head home on an early morning flight (7:00 a.m.-ish). We have experienced unbelievably long lines on a few occasions, so this sounds like a great workaround. I guess we’ll find out!
Used it a bunch of times prior to getting pre-check. Don't quote me but I don't think they're super tight on enforcement for your scheduled time window. Definitely better then the standard line when mco is busy.
I have used it 7 times in the last 3 years, always very easy to use. I make 2 different times using my email and my wife's email, so we have a 45 minute window. They have let's us in early and late also. Takes on average 5 to 10 to go thru entire line from check-in to exit scanner. Will always use it in the future.

Used it twice when traveling with my adult age daughter. We had precheck and she did not. I was able to get reservations for her while we were leaving to head to the airport. The first time it still took her a pretty long while to get through. There seemed to be a fair amount of people with reservations and I'm not sure how much faster it was to get through the ID check. Once through ID check I don't think they have any special security lanes for the reservations, so your time savings appears to be though the ID check and then join the regular screening with everyone else. I suspect it still saved a fair amount of time, but hard to judge.
The next time (last month) she sailed through and was waiting for us after we went through precheck, so it definitely saved a lot of time as there was hardly anyone else in front of her using the service.
If I didn't have precheck I would definitely use the service. Just be aware that they can run out of slots if you wait too long to make a reservation.
