MCO Layout Question

I was only in MCO once, and didn't pay much attention to where things were located. I tried looking at their website, but I'm just not understanding things I guess . If I want to look at the Disney and Universal stores that are there, are they in the area where you check your bags or are they in the area after you take the "train" and get to your gate? Any help would be much appreciated!

The main shopping area is before you go through security, I believe before the trains. But there are kiosks at the individual gate areas as far as I can remember.
