He was fighting for US.
He was imprisioned.

Thats a LOT to go through.

Plus, to have a loved one in the war right now, yes he probably wants the war to end in his heart, but he knows that you cant just say "can we talk this over? drop the guns and we resign?" because the other nations are like that.

It's not like we would take our whole army and say "Bye, we're leaving!". You make a peace treaty and slowly back off. I'm sure Iraq would LOVE for us to leave. I'm sure they would LOVE to be able to support themselves, and not have the U.S.A rebuild the country that WE destroyed.

I show compassion that he was POW, my grandfather was one. Being a POW, you would think that maybe he'd be against the war? Why is he supporting it?

McCain has experienced war so he knowns what he is talking about. Everyone just assumes he wants too stay there. What was the point of going over there (Iraq) if Obama just takes us out right when he gets into office.

Bush sent us to war. We've been in war for 6 years. It's very unneccsary. Especially when we spend billions of dollars over there everyday, but are very much in debt ourselves.

This war was truly unneccasary.

Not if we were going to destroy there country for 6 years and then try to re-build it back up and try to get them to like us.

No, I dont believe so. Us attacking them right back, may cause them to just do it again to us. Why not be a nation and stick together and support and protect each other? Instead we're spending billions of money we don't have on a country we destroyed.
